Track Name: Diamond Tree - 1. Feel it All
Lyrics by Dave Tone

Take those pills away
I'm way too real to be that fake
My plastic doctor fades today

It might seem kind of strange the way
I might break down, "Are you okay?"
I don't need questions, my head's full already

I might be taking the hard road, bro
And that's just the way I want to walk, my friend

I want to feel it all
The pleasure, the pain
Oh, friends and fam, the girl: she's gone
Oh, let's celebrate, we lost our jobs
So we're off for the night

Feel the knife in my knee
Beginning of our surgery
The filth that's coming out
She said I was filled with poison

It's only human to make mistakes
And I ain't dwelling on that hate
A knife can only cut
What can't move on, and just stays put

I know I'm taking the hard road, bro
And that's just the way I want to walk, my friend

I want to feel it all
The pleasure, the pain
Oh, friends and fam, the girl: she's gone
Oh, let's celebrate we lost our nerves

We lost control, we lost control
Fell in the hole, said she didn't mind
You know, control
So I dropped the reigns, 'cause I quit thinking
And all I need is what I'm doing

All we need is what we're doing

I want to feel it all
Pleasure and pain
I want to feel it all

Track Name: Diamond Tree - 2. A Painter's Dream
Lyrics by Dave Tone

Yeah, she was lying on a cloud
As if she'd fallen from my favorite painting
Sky opened up, night came in
My boat rocked, and it began to swim

A wave rose up, underneath my canoe
A single tide, caught some blue strait to you

So I called out "Are you the girl from the moon?"
She said "No, but I'd really like to go"
Flaming red steps came down from her sky-high cotton ball
I climbed right up into her favorite painting

Little cloud brought me up, right beside the tallest tower
Stepped inside, and she knew, she knew I was

Getting closer to the dream
That we'll make it through to our favorite scene
There's no point looking back
We're all moving forward, we might as well see what's coming

And the question, it just fell from her lips
"Are you the guy from the sky?"
I said "No, but with you I'd go"

Golden veils came down
I knew it, I saw
Suddenly there we were
A painter's dream

Getting closer to the dream
That we'll make it through to our favorite scene
There's no point looking back
We're all moving forward, we might as well see what's coming

Track Name: Diamond Tree - 3. Sarah Why?
Lyrics by Dave Tone

You know he sat across a dozen desks
And felt careers get laid to rest
Mostly on time, here for a dime
"So sorry" they say, "but you cannot stay"

"You're a good man so we know, you'll be okay"

You know he's lived his life from pay to pay
Hoping he can work for one more day
Forget about the signs that say it's okay
'Cause he still remembers what she said

Those words stuck in his head

Sarah Why?

He's worn everyone's uniform
Got trained to smile and open doors
Then you're in that room, flooded with gloom
How could it have ended so soon?

"You're a good man so we know, you'll be okay"
Those words stuck in his head

Sarah Why?

Track Name: Diamond Tree - 4. Sailor Swim
Lyrics by Dave Tone

Why're you sad, you're going to drown? You little sailor
My boat don't float like it did, no
There was nowhere you wouldn't go, nothing you didn't want to know
Too many cracks to get to shore
Your highest pride, now it's wasted
My sail's the best, I'm the one who made it

Little sailor, have you lost your hope?
You'll be back soon, you're just tired of waiting
Drop the boat, it drags you down, hurting
Little sailor, can't you trust?
You'll make it home, 'cause your luck's worth living
Forget the boat, you gotta start swimming

Sometime, you'll need help
The ocean's big
Don't be too tall to put your hand out
You know she might be there, if you tell her, she can care
You know you need help
The sea was never meant to be traveled alone

Little sailor, have you lost your hope?
You'll be back soon, you're just tired of waiting
Drop the boat, it drags you down, hurting
Little sailor, can't you trust?
You'll make it home, 'cause your luck's worth living
Forget the boat, you gotta start swimming

And you know it's worth fighting for
It's worth fighting for
Sailor swim

Track Name: Diamond Tree - 5. The Rough
Lyrics by Dave Tone

Face in the mud, 'been trailing blood
Dragged by the legs, I'm getting hungry
Down in the ground, they say it's lonely

'Cause we're killing in the rough
It's primal, you see me
Born to die, it's all part of life
I've made my mind into a knife

Unshackled, unhinged, undead
In your courtyard I fight for the right to survive
She looks at me in the eye, with a smile
A queen sitting high, she's counting my time

Does he live, can he fight, will he be mine tonight
Kill, if you want to feed

'Cause we're killing in the rough
It's primal, you see me
Born to die, it's all part of life
I've made my mind into a knife
